The article contains an overview of the issues affecting middle aged and older people living with HIV, and presents a review of research relevant to adults with HIV on a range of topics, including: successful aging, cognitive impairment in aging with HIV, use of social support, coping and mood issues, as well as co-morbidities and medical complications for an aging population.
